Edwards Strike Pictures

Hello from your brothers and sisters who remain true to the cause and fight.

Message from GLR Carlos H. San Miguel Jr., at Edwards AFB, California.

The members working here at Edwards AFB are standing tall and proud with each of you in Texas and Maryland. Several have crossed the picket line on day one but a few remain strong and bear the conditions of the cold in the morning and heat in the afternoon. Much like all of you do on the line. You know that our folks here are traveling around 50 miles one way at a gas price of $4.29 a gallon. As you look at these photos that show the vehicles driving away from our picket line they must travel 10 miles to the security check point. From the security check point to the Lockheed Martin Hangers is another 18 miles. Grand total from the picket line to hanger’s is about 28 miles one way. You can see that Edwards AFB is a remote site out in the Mojave Desert.
Fraternally,
Carlos H. San Miguel Jr.
