goiam3We'd like to thank the many folks that have called and offered their support during our strike. As members of our community, whether in the P.T.A., coaching in our children's sports leagues, or being active in our local churches, we know our values and the values of our community are the same. Our local businesses, area unions, and individuals have stepped up and volunteered and donated to our cause. Having support from you is what keeps us going, for justice in the workplace. Thank you all!

Food Drive and Distribution

NOTICE:  All members are invited to the Union Hall, this Tuesday, starting at 7:00 PM, to receive food and provisions.  This is a member to member Food Drive.  If you would like to donate or volunteer, please contact Lauren Donnell or Teresa Fisher at the numbers listed below.  All donations are accepted, and if necessary, pickup of items can be arranged.  You may drop off donations at the Union Hall between now and Tuesday.  We will have some coolers available for perishable items, however, non-perishables are preferred.  Things like peanut butter, bread, canned goods, bottled water, tea bags, tuna, potatoes and onions, soups, and mac and cheese would be great.  I'm sure that fresh fruit and veggies would also be appreciated by those that are in need.  There are also donation jars at the Hall for cash and gift cards.  These things will be available to all with no questions asked.  Please spread the word!
